Tips on looking good inside and out from a world-class yoga instructor

As the national yoga director for Exhale, Erin Jacques spends much of her day bouncing between studios and spas. When she’s not leading her innovative classes (her Music Yoga Flow sets vinyasas to everything from hip hop to country), she is planning hikes in upstate New York or training for her next marathon (thirteen and counting). Here’s how she stays fresh.

Since I never dress up for work I get weekly manicures and pedicures every two weeks, which makes me feel fresh and professional.

Every morning I drink hot water with lemons to flush out my body and jumpstart my digestive system, and I also dry brush my body to stimulate my circulation (it’s best before you get into the shower).

Sunscreen is key year-round. My top choice is Kiehl’s Vital Sun Protection because it's light, very water-resistant, and sweat-proof. It protects and never runs into my eyes.

When I'm running around I use Sircuit Cosmeceuticals Molecular Mist, which rehydrates my skin with vitamins, and Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo, which refreshes my hair by giving the roots lift and pulling oil from the hair.
