July 2013: Editor’s Letter

Blame it on Glee, but we’ve got a soft spot for mash-ups (Journey and Beyoncé—why not?). That’s why we’re indulging in a little mix-meets-match in this month’s theme: Power Play. It’s our way of maximizing every minute of summer—even those spent at our desks. The July Birchboxes are packed with work-hard-play-hard products, from Caudalie’s glam Divine Legs bronzing oil to DDF’s stellar overnight treatment. And that’s not all: We also tapped the experts at USA’s SUITS, our latest not-so-guilty television pleasure, for their favorite hardworking products. Check out all their picks here.

Speaking of SUITS, you won’t want to miss our exclusive videos with Meghan Markle, who plays the fiery paralegal Rachel Zane, and Sarah Rafferty, the actress behind our favorite fast-talking executive assistant. Also in this month’s issue: a deep-dive into the world of ceramides, off-duty style tips from inspiring women, and much more. —Mollie
