The Travel Jacket Every Man Should Own: A Wrinkle-Friendly Linen Sport Coat

No fabric travels from chilly to warm climates—and from your shoulders to overhead compartment—better than linen.

There are plenty of tricks you can employ to pack a sport coat on a plane: turning it inside out before folding, packing it in a foldable garment bag, or simply wearing it on the plane, just to name a few. But if you swap out your typical wool or cotton coat for one made of breathable linen, then you can pack it, wear it, and rough it up however you like, without the fear that wrinkles are waiting for you on the other side. Heck, you can use it as a pillow on the plane. It’ll wrinkle, but it’ll look even better once it does.
