Birchbox Crush: Susan Gregg Koger

When we’re looking for adorable, unique fashion that doesn’t break the bank, we head straight to ModCloth. The online boutique’s savvy founder, Susan Gregg Koger, and her-now husband, Eric, started the online boutique while they were still students at Carnegie Mellon and stocked it with all of Susan’s vintage finds. Beyond being a retail powerhouse, the site has a dynamic, inspiring blog and an innovative Be the Buyer program. We asked Koger to tell us about her beauty musts and her vintage inspiration.

Never apologize for your age

Daily Routine

I’m pretty low maintenance, and I like to get as much sleep as possible, so speed is crucial for me! My daily musts include a light moisturizer with SPF 15, a quick curl and swipe of mascara (I currently love Maybelline Falsies), and a bit of Benefit’s Boi-ing undereye concealer. Also, mint Chapstick, to which I’m totally addicted—I probably have at least 30 tubes in rotation around my various purses and suitcases.

Latest Beauty Discovery

I’m glad you asked, because I actually discovered it in a recent Birchbox! I received a sample of the Huile Moderne 004 from Olie Biologique, so I threw it into my travel bag to test. It’s the best nighttime moisturizer I’ve ever used, plus it’s all-natural and smells divine. I am hooked!
