There's history, and then there's history: Jeremiah Taylor opened his shaving salon on London's legendary Bond Street way back in 1854. Soon he had built a devoted following among the Victorian-era elite for his innovative use of botanical extracts. Years later, Jeremiah’s son, Sidney, moved the shop to nearby Jermyn Street and expanded into a full range of luxurious grooming products, from shaving equipment and hair products to aftershaves and colognes. Even today, over 150 years later, Taylor of Old Bond Street remains a family-run business.
These days, nearly every grooming line loves to tout their eco-friendliness, but Taylor was way ahead of its time, emphasizing pure, natural ingredients from the very start. The old-world style of the brand's shaving sets, shampoos, wooden brushes, and combs is in keeping with its storied history.
Head to the brand’s Jermyn Street shop for opulent offerings like a vintage-style chrome atomizer, badger-hair brushes, and leather shaving kits.
