Good for coffee or tea - not so good for colder drinks
Nice appearance, well made, but...... and this is a big but . . .. . the shiny surface isn't the best for placing colder drinks vessels on. Any condensation runs down and can create a kind of seal on the coaster so the next time you pick up your glass the coaster comes along for the ride. Maybe I'll use them for bowls of nuts instead.
I love these
I have had these on my coffee table since the day they arrived on my front porch. They add a nice accent to the living room. Cool neutral color tone too!
Simple and elegant
These coasters are simple and fit in perfectly with a ligh wooden coffee table or any wood furniture for that matter. The leather offered good enough friction so that its not sliding everywhere on a smooth surface.
I mean, they're coasters so its kinda hard to get wrong. They get wet and don't get soggy, so it gets the job done.
They are stylish and do what they were intended to do. However, I would probably not purchase this item if I had not received in my box.
The material makes it very easy to clean off. Luckily I got them through the box, I wouldn't buy for the price.
Good when you need them
I got these in my first box and have used them probably three times. They are simple and thin which is both good and bad. Good because they look nice, soak up the moisture from a cold drink and blend nicely on a table. Bad because I feel like they might break or I might misplace them since they are so thin. Either way though they do a pretty good job of serving their purpose and if asked I would tell a friend I like them.
Hard Paper / coated?
Yeah, that's kinda how they were. Not exactly the highest quality and paltry in comparison to my slate existing coasters. Save yourself some coin and forgo these bad boys and put it towards more permanent, slate or marble coasters. Sorry!
I loved receiving these coasters in my box, but if I were purchasing I'd rather spend a little more to get a little higher quality. The fake leather look certainly looks fake and it's not as absorbent as stone, but definitely works in a pinch. Looks best on a dark surface.
after always having bottle rings on all the tables inow have none these coasters did the trick the soak up the dew and do not let it transfer to the tables
