Don’t fret if you don’t know the difference between a Pinot Noir and a Pinot Grigio—the wine store clerk can help you out there. As for opening the bottle without breaking your conversational stride? For that, you need Quirky’s Verseur. With a struggle-free corkscrew mechanism, stopper, spout, and foil cutter, this device makes opening, pouring, and storing a bottle of wine a breeze. And, since all these functions are built into a single module, you’ll spend less time rooting through kitchen drawers and more time sipping.
How it Works
An easy single-motion corkscrew mechanism allows you to slide the cork out without muscling up on it. There is also a small cutter to remove the foil around the mouth of the bottle, a pour spout so you don’t have to worry about staining white table cloths, and a rubber tight-sealing stopper for keeping your opened bottle fresh (if, on the off chance, you don’t finish it).
How to Use
Invite over someone you like and make your specialty. We’re not suggesting you make a big show of opening the wine, but we’re not suggesting not to do that either.
Body and twisting top constructed from stainless steel, with black rubber pourer and cap.
