I enjoy the smell a lot. I didn't think the smell had enough "musk" but my girlfriend really liked it and said it was better than some of my other colognes.

I love this cologne. By far the very best sample that I received. I usually do not wear cologne but when I do it is this one.

Strong enough for a man but clearly scented for a woman. The scent is long lasting and very delicate, like an old lady scent. Definitely not for me.

A really great smell on this, I think perfect for all year round which could justify the high price tag.

This cologne is great! The smell is great from the start, without being too overwhelming or smelling typical and manufactured. It lasts all day, and only develops and becomes distinctive as time passes. My lady loves it, and I'll definitely be coming back for more.

I'm not usually in the fragrances with a hint of spice but my girlfriend loves the smell, so that's a win.

This stuff smells fantastic. I don't usually wear cologne but I am a huge fan of Cartier Declaration -- I think it has a really nice piney base with lots of other things going on. I don't think it's a particularly strong or overpowering scent. I would give this 5 stars, except I think it's so incredibly expensive that I just can't. Still, the fact that I, a cheapskate, am considering plunking down for the full bottle is telling.

This fragrance is one that I wanted to love but I found the mix of citrus and spice to be confusing rather than alluring. The citrus not was just a touch too sugary to blend in with the rich spices.
The scent did last for the entire day, however.
