Both my husband and I love this product. He got it in his birchbox, but I quickly stole it, and we had a battle going to see who could scoop out the very last bit of scrub. I love how soft and fresh my face felt after washing with it. Plus, it smells amazing. Made me want to cuddle up with my husband all day :D
I love this stuff! I admit that part of the reason is because it smells like Lemonheads, but the scrubby-to-foamy texture is excellent, and it leaves some light moisture that soaks in after you're done.
The scrub smells like lemon which is very refreshing. The exfoliant is bathed in moisturizing and nourishing ingredients and my skin is soft and glowing when finished.
I think it does smell really good like lemongrass. I love how easy it foams up in your hand and on your face. It also washes off easily and left my skin feeling clean not dry.
I have acne prone skin (at 47 !!!) and this really cleans my skin and preps it for the rest of my regime
First off, it smells like straight up lemonheads (the candy). I would not call that a zesty lemon smell. It is an unpleasant odor to have on your face so close to your nose. I did not notice any hints of lemongrass or chamomile. My other issue is that I don't see how this exfoliates much since the sugar dissolves pretty quickly, especially if you activate foam as the directions suggest.
Only have used once so far, want to give it another run. I didn't get that "skin opening" feeling I got from the 'Wash & Buff' but the quality is much nicer, and the smell is great.
I work in the morning and night so I shower mid-day. This feels like coffee for your skin. Smells great and it seems like there is enough in here to last it's price worth. Anyway, you couldn't ask for much of a better product.
