Ask any barber and they’ll tell you that the white whale of the haircare world is a product that can provide both strong hold and a broken-up matte finish. Mr. Natty, a barber himself, seems to have speared this one. This clay provides texture and hold without making hair look like it’s full of product. On the styling spectrum, it’s on the exact opposite end from a mid-90’s boy band hair gel.
I have a short, heavily bleached, semi-mohawk, and the Mr. Natty gives me good control and piecey effects and lift without being too crusty and crispy. The texture of it feels great and I love the coconut-y smell!

Just what I've been after!
This stuff has the perfect amount of hold without a greasy appearance. It smells good too. Reminds me of old-timey pipe tobacco or something.

First-rate stuff.
I've tried a lot of hair products in this general category and this is one of the best I've come across -- nice matte finish, and good hold while still looking natural and not making the hair too "clumpy." Anyone who uses a clay-type hair product should try this against their current favorite.

Very good product
This clay does everything that it's supposed to: it holds well, dries to a nice matte finish, and washes out pretty easily. It also is pliable and smells quite nice (coconut). Love it!

Finally!
I've searched high and low for a product that had both a strong enough hold and didn't leave my hair shiny or greasy, and Mr. Natty may have found himself a customer for as long as I still have hair. I have fairly thin hair that makes me look like a chia pet once towel dried, so product for me is essential, even when I'm just heading out to the store, but I don't want it to look like I plastered my hair to my head either. This clay gives a great matte finish that looks like I hardly have anything in it, but is strong enough to hold through the day. Even in windy Chicago I'm able to re-work it throughout the day with no problem.
