Ok, so yes it is a nail and a piece of wood. Not something I would go spend 14.99 on. I think my Grandpa had one laying around. I will say it would make a good White Elephant gift!
not a better mouse-trap
Oh those hipsters trying to un-complicate the already un-complicated--they are shooting for the rustic I'm-too-cool-to-care-about-my-bottle-opener feel, but if that's really your attuitude, then just pop a cap off the counter the old-fashioned way. This is just a bent nail stuck in a piece of wood, with a magnet and a nice paint finish. Sure, it works, but I don't need to add another opner to my collection.
It's pretty ugly. It works but its a piece of wood with a nail in it. Not worth the price.
Serves it's purpose
I guess it's an okay product, and it serves it's purpose. But, I mean, it's just a piece of wood with a nail in it.
A bit too twee for me...
$14 for a device that is, effectively, what farmers have been using for more than 100 years... Save your money. If catching bottlecaps is that problematic, perhaps try using the bottleopener over a trash can. You're welcome.
It's a bottle opener. It opens bottles so it does it's job. Just kinda cheap...could have made one on our own
Not for me
If I cant twist the top off a bottle I usually dont drink out of it. Also just looks like a screw in a piece of wood, not my favorite design
I was somewhat disappointed i received this product in my box this month. The product itself seems very cheaply made, and will most likely end up sitting in my junk drawer.
This is like an interesting novelty. It is kind of awkward for the most part, not really as effective as your standard opener and kind of clumsy to bring around.
A bottle opener that any high school student could make in shop class. The magnet isn't very powerful so it doesn't stay stuck to my fridge very well. Looks cheap.
