Many thick, goopy foundations make us feel about as unnatural-looking as the Joker. Not so funny. We prefer a makeup look that’s a little more inconspicuous, so naturally, we gravitated toward Alison Raffaele’s Reality Base Foundation. Its weightless, oil-free formula is designed to look completely natural on skin, providing medium coverage and leaving your face silky-smooth. The foundation contains the protective and restorative Frutta di VitaTM antioxidant complex, a brand signature ingredient.
How it Works
Frutta di VitaTM is rich in vitamin C and beta carotene (thanks to its all-important pomegranate, goji berry, and resveratrol ingredients). The antioxidant complex is just that—complex. It performs many functions: it minimizes the appearance of age and sun spots, promotes cell turnover and a more even skin tone, and helps heal existing skin damage. The foundation comes in seven different shades, aptly named Skintone 1, Skintone 2, and, well, you get the idea.
How to Use
Using fingers, a brush, or a sponge, massage foundation gently over face. Double-check to ensure proper blending.
