We’re all about transparency. In the super social age we live in—from showcasing our every move on Foursquare to posting images of each and every single meal—it’s pretty safe to say we’re not hiding anything. Needless to say, we’re all about Alison Raffaele’s Transparent Finish. This loose powder, colorless and weightless on the face, can be applied over base layers (face cream, sunscreen, BB/CC cream, and/or foundation) to prevent them from melting and to minimize shine. It also forms a velvety, matte canvas on which pigmented makeup like blushes and eye shadows can be blended.
How it Works
The cornstarch-based formula is vegan and free of parabens, mineral oil, talc, gluten, and fragrance. It feels light and fresh and won’t build up on skin or cake in fine lines. Plus, it’s dermatologist-tested and works on all skin tones and types.
How to Use
After applying base layers (e.g., face cream and foundation), sweep a thin layer onto face with a brush. Follow with makeup.
