Natural ingredients. Heavier texture which is great for really dry skin. Solves dryness instantly.
Great for dry skin and dry climate
I live in San Francisco and have naturally dry skin. Love this product. Like aquaphor but not as greasy, which I like. Recommend it! So good.
Not worth the price
The cream is really thick and good for overnight moisturizing, but the price is not justifiable. It's also kind of oily and requires a decent dry time before you can get anything near where you put the lotion on. Nice, but overpriced.
Husband liked it
It was a little greasy but once it penetrated the skin it was pretty moisturizing. Not too crazy about the ingredients though, seems like you could make it at home
Not for me
this product was to greasy. I liked how it had all natural ingredients but I won't be buying it.
This product is just glorified Vaseline and I was unhappy to receive it in my March box.
Why is this so expensive?
Ok, when I saw I was recieving this, I was excited! Egyptian Magic is such a great name! It must be fantastic! NO. I WAS WRONG. Last night, I squeezed out an entire foil pack onto my hand, and mixed it around til it had the consistency of oil like the directions say. Ok, so then I was left with what is essentially a big glop of oil on my hands. Not a salve, not a balm. OIL. The packaging says "skin cream" if I am not mistaken. Well no, folks, this is straight up grease. The worst part about it is that it *coated* my dry skin rather than sinking in. I tried rubbing it in for a long time, but it still just seemed to coat me. It felt gross. In fact, it was so greasy, that I couldn't go to bed in my underwear like I normally do. I had to put on long sleeves so I didnt get the bed greasy. I unfortunately had slathered my entire top half with this sample. Being that it is grease, one little foil pack went a long way. I can't imagine paying money for a full size when I hate the sample so much.
All natural, entertaining packaging
This product is more of a salve than a lotion in texture, but melts easily into a moisturizing oil with your body heat. The texture was a little grainy, but I can forgive this as the product is all natural and doesn't contain emulsifiers or the like. My favorite thing about this product is the dorky packaging and message from LordPharaoh ImHotepAmonRa, CEO & Founder of Egyptian Magic: "Blessings unto you, Precious One..." I wish this came in a tube instead of a jar.
Love this lavish cream. It just melts into the skin! I am using it to treat a very bad bruise as well as some extremely dry spots on my skin. I plan on trying it under my eyes and in my hair!
At first it scared me because of how thick it was but once applied to the skin, it would almost melt into a soft oil, kind of like warming coconut oil in your palm. It hydrates deep and gets rid of dry patches especially during the winter. I apply it after the shower and it glides on so smooth and makes a lasting difference
