does not hold my curly hair. Goes in well when wet but as my hair dries I have to re-adjust and by the end of the day I have to take them out. : (

I really love these barrettes, they are so fun and different. I always get compliments when I wear them.

Tip- If you spray the barrette with hair spray and let it dry before you put it in, it does not slip out!

I purchased these to go with my 12 year old sisters christmas gift. I guess they were a little too out there for her because I haven't see her use them once. I think they're cute and I have been thinking about purchasing these for myself.

I bought these for my 13 year old. I thought she'd like them. She doesn't. She said, "meh" so I took them from her to see if I could get some use out of them. They don't stay in my hair. They slide right out after a vigorous walk. I'll keep them, but just use them for styling purposes when I'm flat ironing or round brush drying my hair.

I really liked these clips, but they don't hold my hair up very well. Thought I could use them at the beach but I guess my hair is a little too thick for them.

I always get compliments when I wear these. They stay in place, even in my thick curly hair and are very handy.

I loved the look of these barrettes and the colors were great. I have a ton of hair but unfortunately it is very fine. The barrettes slid right out of my hair within minutes of walking around with them in. My girlfriend also bought these and she has curly thick hair and they work great for her.

Love these have long locs so they are perfect,many compliments and questions where I found them wish they came in more colors but a great buy for me

These make "lazy" hair styles chic! I always get compliments on these. The only improvement suggestion I have is that I wish they came in more colors!

I really like the idea of an oversized barrette, however, when I got them, they were way too large. I have fairly fine hair. I think someone with big, long wavy hair would enjoy these barrettes more than I did.
