History:

TERRY de Gunzburg carved her own path to success. After quitting medical school, TERRY realized she wanted to help others look beautiful. By a stroke of luck, the student-turned-fledgling makeup artist found herself working on a Vogue shoot. Her career took off, and TERRY became the International Director of Creation and Marketing for Yves Saint Laurent. In 2000, she left to start her own makeup line, and BY TERRY was born. Nicknamed the “guru of color,” TERRY has expanded her original Paris boutique into an international brand with a loyal cult following.
