After graduating from Parson's School of Design with a degree in fashion design, Jackie Shapiro packed her bags and moved to Italy, where she landed a job working for the clothing brand Fiorucci. Upon returning to the U.S., she launched her own wildly successful children's fashion line based out of New York City, and then decided to branch out, using her design skills to create a range of kitchen and lifestyle products for budget- and style-savvy customers. She named her new business French Bull, and it quickly took off--the line is now available in countries from Brazil to South Korea.
