Angela Leung loved the concept of the one-time-use “face sheet” masks she found all over Asia, but wanted to make it accessible and appealing to a Western audience. In early 2010, she launched myfaceworks, which combines modern packaging and clever branding with quality ingredients and lab-perfected formulas.
Asian tradition meets modern design. The line includes twelve varieties of one-time-use masks, which are made from strong natural fabrics that have been soaked in a special serum. Each effectively targets a different skin woe, from dryness to dullness, using ingredients like sodium hyaluronate, witch hazel, vitamin C, and algae extract.
The Starter Kit, with their six best-selling masks, has something for every skin type and emergency.
'i need a quickie' preps skin for makeup with moisturizing cucumber and grape extracts; 'i need to detox' uses green tea to suck out toxins and soothe skin; and 'i need to replenish' hydrates with sodium hyaluronate.
