History

The Amazon rainforest is famous for its natural treasures, and restorative rahua oil (pronounced rah-wah) is no exception. For centuries, women from the Quechua-Shuar tribes have attributed their thick, shiny hair to the potent oil, which they prepare by hand. In the 1990s, they shared their formula with New York stylist and colorist Fabian Lliguin, a native Ecuadorian of Quechua descent, and Rahua hair care was born.
