History

During the 1920s, Italian-born Salvatore Ferragamo was Hollywood’s go-to shoemaker. He launched his eponymous line in 1927 and quickly became one of the world’s top designers, famous for creations that were inspired by history and for his meticulous craftsmanship. Over the years, the brand has expanded to include accessories, clothing, and, in 1998, fragrances. Even as they’ve grown, the company continues to craft all its luxury goods in Italy, with the same attention to detail that they have had since the beginning.
