History
Leave it to a mom of two to develop an innovative SPF line. In 2007, Holly Thaggard—a veteran of the suncare industry—created Supergoop!® after watching her kids play outside day in and day out. Thaggard realized that both children and adults need to make sun protection a daily must, but she was dissatisfied with the run-of-the-mill sunscreens out there. Never one to rest on her laurels, Thaggard set out to develop her own brand of water-resistant, truly skin-safe formulas that are made without any irritating ingredients.
Philosophy
Sun safety matters. Supergoop!® has a mission to educate all people about the importance of using sunscreen 365 days a year. Their healthy formulas offer broad spectrum protection without relying on controversial ingredients like oxybenzone, petrochemicals, parabens, and fragrances. Instead, they’re infused with antioxidants and vitamins. And we love how Supergoop! makes a huge spectrum of delivery systems—everything from lotions and sprays to lip balms and handy travel swipes.
