History

Less than a year old, Tatcha was founded by Victoria Tsai, who left the corporate world to bring her passion for Japanese skincare to beauty lovers. Tsai grew up surrounded by fancy products at her family’s beauty boutique but it was the traditional Asian tinctures she learned from her mother that stuck with her. When work took her to Asia, she rediscovered many of those age-old beauty rituals and uncovered new ones.
