History

After she had her first child, Jessica Frandson began wearing ponytails around the clock to keep her baby from pulling her hair. But her regular hair ties weren’t cutting it: they gave her headaches and cut off the circulation in her wrist. Finally, she started using a soft piece of elastic to secure her hair. In 2009, she turned her simple solution into Twistband and began selling her stylish, practical hair ties.
