Birchbox Breakdown
Whether your hair is naturally fragile, gone through too many chemical treatments, or you’re just overdue for a trim, your hair needs something more serious than a traditional conditioner. This creamy mask, loaded with Tahitian Monoi Oil, is designed to repair hair health for stronger, glossier strands and fortify them against future damage. You’ll see a difference after just one use, but make it a weekly habit and your hair will be a happy, shiny camper.
How it Works
First, a word on what this mask doesn’t include: parabens, petroleum, sulfates, mineral oil, or artificial colors. Whew. It does, however, have a slew of nourishing and strengthening ingredients, including Tahitian Monoi Oil, bamboo water, and hydrolyzed silk. The combination helps to reinforce weak strands, add softness, repairs split ends and reduces breakage
How to Use
Wash hair with a repairing shampoo (we like Carol’s Daughter’s Monoi Repairing Shampoo). Wring out excess moisture and apply a generous amount of the mask, concentrating on the mid-lengths and ends of hair. Leave on for five to seven minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.
