Chipped-polish emergencies can happen anywhere: Stay prepared with Deborah Lippmann the Stripper to go always in your handbag.

Deborah Lippmann

Birchbox Breakdown

There’s pink, and then there’s ’80s pink, that electric hue that’s the color equivalent of slipping on legwarmers and hopping in a time machine. This just-this-side-of-neon shade (named for the 1980 hit song) has us feeling nostalgic—but the creamy, long-wearing formula is indisputably modern. Plus, a color this bold goes with everything, as long as you’ve got confidence (and maybe a teasing comb).

How it Works

This smooth polish glides easily onto nails, and stays without chipping. What’s more, the formula is made without DBP, formaldehyde, or toluene, as are all of Lippmann’s polishes.

How to Use

Brush on a base coat to protect nails, then layer on two coats of color, allowing time between for polish to dry slightly. Finish with a top coat for added shine and fewer chips.
