Birchbox Breakdown

We’re head over heels for Sunday Riley’s gorgeous collection of highly pigmented eye shadows. The crease-resistant colors go on smooth—and stay on, without any tricky beauty voodoo on your end. Each of three hues—Fool’s Gold, a black shimmer with gold flecks; Olive Branch, a light metallic olive green with khaki undertones; and Cloud Cover, a soft matte grey with plum undertones—adds instant drama to your look.

How it Works

This ultra-fine formula is air-milled to allow the pigment to disperse, while micro spherical silica particles give the shadows a silky texture. The result? Smooth, easy-to-blend color that lasts all day.

How to Use

Using an eye shadow brush, dab product onto brush and tap off excess. Apply directly onto eyelids. Alternatively, use a damp eyeliner brush to apply color along the lash line for a more precise look.

Pigmented & Powdery
Purchased

I really like the shade "Cloud Cover" and would be up for truing "Fool's Gold". However, the formula of this shadow isn't my favorite. It's quite powdery but still has decent pigmentation. This was more lavender than I expected but I enjoy using it as a transition color. It lasts all day and I haven't had a problem with creasing although I do use a primer. It's my understanding that you can use this wet or dry but I find it's pigmented enough to use dry.
