I was desperate for a nail polish that didn't chip. So I bought this top coat. I read good reviews about the nail polish. I wore it over Color Club. It was weird it peeled off in layers. Almost to thick. You don't get sheet marks with this.

Will never ever use this product. A very brittle base/top coat. Read some reviews that said it was great for oily nails but they were not correct!

I love the gloss that this gives, but I am not sure if it gives any extra protection for helping my manicures last longer -- I still start chipping after 3 days or so even with this as base and top coat. It does have a beautiful finish and sheen though.

Im new to the Deborah Lippmann nail polish. I seen a lot of great reviews on her products. With one coat my nail felt strong and healthy!!!! My nail polish lated a little longer as well!

I'm not sure how effective this product is as a nail strengthener. I haven't really noticed a difference in my nails since I started using it. As a base coat, it's pretty good -- even the darkest, most pigmented polishes don't really stain my nails. As a top coat, it is decent, but doesn't leave nails with a super high-gloss shine (the finish I prefer in a top coat). Overall, I'd probably repurchase this as a base coat, but might look for a different nail strengthener and top coat for future purchases. Frankly, I expected more from Deborah Lippmann because it's supposed to be such a high-end brand.

I have tried almost every top and base coat out there...seriously. This one is above all my absolute FAVORITE!!! Not only does it do double duty as a base and top coat, it keeps my mani looking great for a full week and makes my polish dry faster...buy it, you will not regret it!!!!!! I'm not ever without it now!

I have peeling, soft nails, so I'm always looking for a product to harden them and keep polish on. This base & top coat does it all. I wear it alone to keep my nails from peeling as well as putting it on before and after polish. I have been very pleased with it.

What a lovely clear coat. Makes my mani's last longer and my nails feel stronger. Love Lippmann!

This is great because it functions as both a base and a top coat. It does what it claims to do: makes the nail strong and doesn't dry them out. A+
