C. Wonder Foo Dogs

You don’t have to be a feng shui expert to bring an Eastern vibe into your space. Inspired by traditional Chinese guardian statues, these miniature ceramic watchdogs will keep any negative energy at bay. The male stands guard with his paw resting on a sphere, while the female restrains a playful cub.

Great pieces!

Love these figurines! They look great on my black bookshelf. I was surprised at how they tall they were as well!

Loved them

These are considered to be good luck in Chinese culture (yeah I am kinda superstitious), so I placed them outside my condo door on either side. They are fairly lightweight and hollow in the middle, so I wouldn't recommend keeping them outside in all weather, but for my apartment hallway/doorstep it works great.

If you want to get technical about feng shui, both should always be displayed together. The male lion, holding a ball under his left or right paw should be placed on the left side (as you are looking out of a door or window), and the female lion, holding a cub is placed on the right side.

Just Beautiful!

The Blue Foo Dogs are stunning. Great value for price. Not very heavy so would not suggest for heavy book "endings." You won't be disappointed if you order.

Classy and Chic

I had pinned the white version of this Foo Dog set to my Pinterest wishlist the day before, and then when the BB Home shop launched, I was thrilled to see them there. I decided it was kismet and used some points and my three-month discount code toward them, so they were a steal.

The bookends themselves are very pretty. I have a thing for Foo dogs. The white is true white, and while they feel substantial, they are not heavy enough that I would feel comfortable using them to prop up more than a few light books. The ceramic bottoms are hollow, so maybe there is a way to add more weight. I bought them mostly to use as decoration, so that doesn't bother me. The size is pretty much what I had imagined from the dimensions listed.
