I hate spring time for allergy reasons. Sneezing, coughing, etc when flowers and trees bloom make me miserable. Allergies are the reason I hate perfume too. I have a hard time finding one that balances floral and sweet scents without smelling like either a walking cupcake or a 14 year old who hangs at the mall too much. Enter atelier cologne. More specifically the vanilla scent. I'm done looking for a perfume. This will be my lifetime perfume. I don't like it, I LOVE it. The vanilla is mild and mature. It fades Into a beautiful musky sweet scent that lingers. I don't get the jasmine at all, and that's probably a good thing for me. I've had nothing but compliments on it when I wear it. I had a gentleman in an elevator ask me what I was wearing when I went to work right after I applied it. He wrote it down to buy it for his wife. Nothing compares to this scent, ill use it forever!

This scent didn't give me a headache nor make my coworker break out and sneeze. It's light and warm and fresh, smells natural instead of chemical, and doesn't make you smell like a cupcake. I accidentally spilled some of the sample as I was taking off the cap one morning, and as a result used more than I normally would have. That was the day I wore it to work, and my highly-allergic new coworker said it didn't bother him at all. It didn't bother me, either, which is always a good thing.

Most vanilla perfumes make the wearer smell like cake- a sweet lingering smell that you can almost taste. This perfume, though, makes you smell fresh and new, yet the vanilla smell is noticeable and lingering. I much prefer it.

One of the other reviewers mentioned that this product smells like nag champa and I agree 100%. I'm a teacher and on the day I wore it a child said "something smells like my hamster's cage". (sigh) All the others agreed.
I know they're children but I'm sure a few adults thought the same thing.

I am usually very picky when it comes to buying perfume. I don't like fragrances that are too sweet and I don't like fragrances that are too citrusy. This perfume, however, is PERFECT! The scent is actually amazing. It doesn't give me a headache, it lasts for hours, and it gets me lots of compliments!

I usually dislike most perfumes, this is the exception. It's light and clean and, for once, is a scent that doesn't end up giving me a headache after I put it on.

Fresh, Clean, Earthy, and Feminine- It has a very clean refreshing smell but also is very warm and romantic. The only negative thing is that it doesn't stay all day. However if I had the full size, I could probably use more!

I don't like too sweet or too musky or too floral and I was a bit nervous about trying a vanilla scent (would it be too much, too juvenile?), but this was perfect. I had several people compliment me on it. Love!

Not my favorite fragrance. Too spicy and musky for my taste. The perfume did last quite a long time. thanks

I absolutely love this scent. My boyfriend is picky with perfume... sometimes he notices, but usually doesn't say anything unless it is overpowering, he doesn't like it, or he loves it. He loves this one, and so do I! Fresh but musky at the same time, not overpowering or too subtle. Perfect combination of sweet and mellow.
