This scent has a story worth repeating: on a hike in the mountains of Italy, Atelier Cologne founders Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel stumbled upon a rare flower known to locals as the Brunello. They had never smelled anything like it — there seemed to be a whole ambery bouquet contained within the single bloom. After returning home, they were inspired to create a scent that paid homage to their fragrant memory, and Ambre Nue was born. This highly concentrated Cologne Absolue — 18 percent, to be exact — is the latest addition to the Atelier line.

Not really in love. At all.
I was not really impressed with the scent, in fact, it gave me headaches. It is pretty strong and potent.
Love this!
Sexy, serious and mature. I love this perfume. It's not a summery sent, but perfect for cooler weather, or evenings out any time of year. Not intended for the gamine, this is a perfume for a full on, adult woman.
Smells old
This smells like old clothes that have been in the closet for years. Thought it was me, so I gave the sample to a friend who loves perfumes and she returned it next day!
not a fan
I didnt like this scent. Nice but not for me. And it didnt say if this rare flower was even in the scent? Assume so.
Sweet and Spicy
This sent is very sweet, and has a lot of spice in it. The scent lasts a long time, but this is something that I typically wouldn't wear -- it's too bold.
umm.... I like it tho
I like this scent, but it is kinda strong. I'm happy with this scent, but what I don't like about the sample is the bottle. It is hard to put on.

I received this in my April Birchbox, and couldn't decide if I liked it or not. It definitely has a unique and strong scent.
Love this fragrance and love Atelier Cologne!
I received a sample of Amber Noir in my BirchBox and really liked it! It is unlike any fragrance I've smelled and it made me very interested in experiencing Atelier's other fragrances. Recently while in New York, I made it a point to visit the retail location in Soho. I had the most amazing experience there! My sister and I spent the greater part of an afternoon learning about Atelier (the company, the founders, their inspiration for each fragrance, and where their ingredients are sourced from) and of course sampling the fragrances. Atelier does fragrance in a non-traditional way that sets it apart from department store brands. I left with three different scents! Their staff was amazing! I highly recommend Atelier Cologne!
not my favorite
I wear perfume on a daily basis, and find that this smell is too musky- almost old man after shaving kind of smell. sorry.
Love it
It has a nice fresh smell. An orange-y, fresh flower smell. You only need a dap on your wrist that'll last you the whole day! I gave it 4 stars only because it is so expensive!
