This product does the job, it helps a good blow out last another few days, but be prepared - it has a very distinct smell (kind of like a lemon household cleaner) - if you like it - great, if not - you are stuck with it.
This blends in my hair so well. Other dry shampoos leave white streaks in my hair. I've really liked this product. It has lasted a long time.
First dry shampoo I started using over 4 years ago and since then tried other products out of curiosity and price difference and nothing compares. It works if you want to use it more than one day... every other dry shampoo makes my hair worse by the end of the day.
I have tried other dry shampoos and although there are a few aerosols that I do like, this is the one that I always go back to. I am brunette and this works for me. You just have to make sure to work it in. I apply by putting the tip close to my roots. I let it set for a few minutes and soak up any oil, I apply makeup while letting it set. Then as a last part of my routine I work in the powder .This dry shampoo last a really long time. I think it's better for the budget compared to aerosol. It's also great for travel too.You have to learn how to work with it and soon it will become your favorite too!
I use this product almost daily and cannot say enough good things about it! I have naturally dark blonde hair, and it works brilliantly to help soak up any overnight oily-ness. It also helps lighten my roots for the week or so before I need a new highlight. The lemon verbena scent is addicting!
This makes my blonde hair light and clean. It also has a very light lemon scent. I could see this product being an issue for someone with darker hair.
I love the scent. The powder works better for me in comparison to the spray formulas. It's quick the apply and keeps my hair soft and shiny. Also, a little product goes a long way so the bottle lasts a really long time.
I really wanted to love this product. I've tried tons of dry shampoos, and I had high hopes after reading all of the positive reviews. I will admit that my hair looked pretty good, but it felt absolutely disgusting. I think my hair may be too fine to soak up this product effectively. Sure, it looked alright, but it felt like how I imagine an overly hair sprayed, 1980s pageant contestant's hair to feel.
This is a great dry shampoo, I agree with that. The issue for me was that it showed up as light powder in my dark hair. It wasn't a particularly attractive look. So you will need to be careful in delivering this to your roots. Often too much comes out of that nozzle, making it difficult to control how white your hair turns.
I have had blue hair for years, and in order to prolong the color I only wash my hair about once a week or so - therefore I rely heavily on dry shampoos. I've tried every kind of aerosol dry shampoo I could get my hands on in an attempt to find the perfect one, and this powder actually works considerably better than all the aerosols.
I tried it on a whim because I've used powdered root lifters and they tend to build up on my scalp. This powder can either be shaken directly on the hair or applied by shaking it onto your hands and applying with the fingertips for more of a touch-up. It works better than the aerosols because you can control the amount you use, and the scalp build-up is minimal. It does volumize slightly, which is a nice bonus, and it has a very pleasant lemony scent. I typically use this product 4-6 days a week and love it.
