It was a nice scent. I don't know that I liked it enough to make a full size purchase. It could be mostly because it would take a real standout to counter the drawer full of cologne bottles the husband is currently hoarding.

My husband loves how it smells and used up the free sample quickly. He will be getting more for Valentine's Day :-)

The june box was the first birchbox i had ever recieved and i was a bit disappointed when i opened it and saw a mens fragrance...until I smelled it, that is. It is a delicate fragrance with amazing staying power. I immediately asked my boyfriend to try it and he loved it as much as I do. I will be purchasing the full size as a gift for him.

This was a great addition to my birchbox. My boyfriend loved the scent, and the scent did not wear off fast which is always a bonus! In my opinion this is a pretty universal scent for all ages

I didn't love it, but it wasn't horrible either. It's a very clean scent, and to me it's not as strong as some other men's cologne.

I liked this scent, but it was a little powerful (which can also be a god thing!) Only a spray or two is necessary, so the sample will last a long time.

I was surprised to see a mens product in my box! My fiance was pretty happy though because he loves Varvatos products and of course he used it and has now since purchased the item. I am glad Birchbox is now targeting men- it was a good surprise for everyone!

I have always loved John Varvatos fragrances. I bought my Dad one for Christmas a few years ago, and when he got a sample of Star, I thought it was a fabulous and modern scent. I bought this for my boyfriend, so I'm hoping he likes it as much as I do!

I've been a John Varvatos fan for a while, used to just wear the classic cologne but when I got a sample of Star I was hooked. I get a ton of compliment on this scent. Only drawback is that it doesn't last all day.

I'm a 22 year old female and for whatever reason, I received this cologne sample with last month's Birchbox. Now that I'm looking it up for the first time, I know now that I've been wearing men's cologne all month!!! Despite my ignorance, I actually really like this. So men or androgynous females, I recommend this fragrance!
