I didn't find anything special about this product. It is hard to apply since it is such a thin liquid, so I just ended up squirting it directly onto my hair. I really didn't notice it making any difference though.
Shiny, but a little smelly
When I and my two towheaded sisters were still all under the age of 5, we lay on the kitchen counter with our locks draped into the sink while our mom washed and rinsed. The treatment was ended with a generous dose of vinegar and a shocking splash of cold water. Looking back at photos, we had amazingly shiny hair, but what doesn't show is that we also smelled like salad dressing. This Klorane product gives the same glossy effect, and though the odor is quite a bit less offensive than straight vinegar, I've still found myself in a pickle trying to mask it.
hard to tell, but I think its working!
this is one of those products its really hard to tell if its actually working. I feel like it is...I've been using it for over a month now, using it once to twice a week post shampoo and my highlights look really great still. I plan to keep using it to see longterm results, but I think this is really helping keep brassiness at bay.
I could not really tell any difference in my hair after I used this product. It is hard to apply, especially when trying to apply it in the shower. I wasn't crazy about the smell either. It smells like vinegar...
Not sure if it works
Caveat: I have only tried this product once on a sunny day. I did not notice any lightening. It may be that I have to use it a few more times, so the effect can build up. I have red hair and was hoping to get the top layer a little lighter red, but have noticed no change.
Difficult to apply
Although I do notice that my hair is brighter after using this shampoo, it's very difficult to apply. The liquid is so thin (like water) and the dispenser is not practical.
