I just had surgery and have been applying this to my scar. To be honest I can't tell if it is helping or not. I did notice a bit of difference in fine lines when using it on my face.
I sampled this product. It's for red irritated skin which I have. After a few uses its as if my skin has been transformed! This product is truly amazing for getting rid of my irritated red skin. The only downside would be that it's sticky, but for what it does, I don't mind at all!
I received this as a sample with purchase and overall I'm not very impressed. For starters it smells a little... off. I realize it's not meant to smell like roses and sunshine or anything but it'd be nice if it didn't smell like some hospital goop. Which is coincidentally exactly what it felt like on my skin - sticky, syrupy, and overall just kind of gross. I'm sure if I had more inflammation and/or spots that need healing I might find it useful but otherwise I'm not sure it serves much of a purpose.
but I'm pretty sure I don't want to, because after using it, I'm convinced it's taken from another universe whose physics doesn't quite match our own and it works by sucking fine lines and wrinkles into some black hole somewhere, and I just don't want to face the disastrous consequences of that, you know? After doing a ton of research, I have only ever used anti-aging products with Retinol, because those are the only ones clinically proven to work. I got a small sample of Lift&Fix with another purchase, and figured it wouldn't hurt to try. After two applications, the lines in my forehead and the smile lines under my nose are dramatically fainter and smaller - even my husband has noticed the difference! If I had seen photos of my face before and after, I would have assumed the whole thing was a Photoshop job - to see it on my actual face is astonishing! I am an instant convert, and for my skin and lines, it's worth every penny!
This helped soothe my skin quite a bit after I plucked my eyebrows. I appreciate how well it works. I don't know if I would feel comfortable using it after a surgery as the product description outlines, but I can see how it would be effective for that.
This product is for red, flushed, and/or irritated skin, but not of the irritated acne variety. For people who sunburn easily, this might be a great investment. For me, the only irritation or inflammation my face sees is from acne, which this product does nothing for. I am sure it is a good product, but it is not something that I can use as I do not sunburn easily and do not get chemical peels, so my skin really can't benefit from a product to treat this specific problem.
I can't say that I really noticed a difference with this product. I did like the way it felt, but no more than I like the moisturizer and treatments I already use (I use philosophy brand for a cleanser, toner, and moisture regimen). I might keep an eye out for more reviews on this product, but for me, I just wasn't that wowed by it.
Miracle product - it quickly calmed wind chapping from a day on the water - I usually have to wait 2 days for something like that to go away.
I am 37; not a whole lot of wrinkles yet as I stay away from the sun for the most part (even though I live in Arizona!) It got rid of redness, but I'm still trying it on my frown lines on forehead...
The very first day I used this, it seemed fine. It didn't really provide moisture and sank in pretty readily and was undetectable on my skin a few minutes later. By the next day, though, it started to irritate my skin if it was freshly cleansed and would make my face quite pink, especially on my cheeks, so I did stop using it. I think for my skin, a more gentle formula would be a lot better (if it moisturized, that would be fantastic too) as I am way too sensitive for this product.
