Ugh, I was really expecting something special from these after reading all of the great reviews. I found ALL of the shades to be too pink. The reddest one is somewhat wearable, but the others make me look like a barbie, and not sophisticated like I was hoping for. I LOVE the medieval shade from this brand, and would buy that one again instead.
Love this brand
I am extremely happy with these lipsticks. Having tried many, many brands in the past, this is definitely one of my favorites. I adore the fact that there is no headache-inducing stench to these, since I am really sensitive to smells, and yes, even lipsticks sometimes bother me. The texture of these is smooth and slides on lips perfectly. Must blot, however, because it'll get all over you if you don't. Comes off pretty easily when touching, so might want to beware of that. Very nicely moisturizing and nice, sturdy packaging within the tube. Leaves lips feeling beautiful.
This was my first purchase from the Lipstick Queen line and it is incredible! I am in love with the nude and the peachy color that come in the set but the red is also very pretty. These lipsticks go on so smooth and don't dry your lips out at all! If you are looking to try something new or to just add a few fun colors to your stash, then this is a must have!
I have loved this brand since her blue jean lipstick came out. Great pigmentation and staying power. A bit pricey. The packaging is adorable but ultimately a throw away
Great pigment with amazing staying power.
The colors DO NOT match the picture nor do the descriptions.
I still use these and sometimes mix them with other colors, especially the lighter shades as they are orangey or too bright on me.
Gives Good Lip!
I love Lipstick Queen. The three colors in this set work for anyone. My favorite is Central Park. I think it is the perfect peach. The lipstick is moist and long-lasting. I am not surprised that Poppy King did it again!
The price is also excellent, as individually these lipsticks would be $20 each.
I usually stick to lip glosses and tints because lipsticks can look rather harsh on me—not so with this set. I find these to be wonderfully wearable, everyday lipsticks. The formula is creamy with just a touch of shine and not too opaque, but can be layered for more pop. The color descriptions aren't super accurate for my skin tone (medium fair)—Upper East is more pink than nude on me and Central Park is rather fuchsia/hot pink rather than peach. It's not a problem at all for me, just a heads up for anyone looking for exact colors. I hemed and hawed over this purchase but I'm very happy with it.
