I bought this in Retro and loved it so much that I bought Silk Stockings and Mon Mimi after seeing how wonderful this product is. Creamy, smooth perfect color that applies and wears like a dream.
Please BB add more lipstick colors from Paul & Joe

This lipstick comes in the cutest packaging!
I got the rouge color, while it looks really red, it actually applies semi sheer, which is still really pretty. I want to get all the shades!

After hearing people rave about Paul & Joe lipsticks for a while, I decided to buy the Silk Stockings color.

Pros:
This lipstick has a wonderful texture. It does not dry out my lips and has great staying power. I understand why I have heard so many good things about Paul & Joe lipstick.

Cons:
My only complaint is that the color pictured on the Birchbox website is nothing like the actual color of the lipstick. Instead of the color that is pictured, the lipstick is actually a very orange coral. It's a pretty color, but not the best choice for my skin tone.

Overall:
The lipstick is great. Birchbox should list the colors more accurately. This experience has made me wary of trusting the colors displayed on the site.

I love the pigmentation of this lipstick it leaves it lips soft . It gives your lips such a great color and it stays on.

I was so excited about ordering this lipstick, because the case is adorable. It reminds me of lipsticks you see in powder room scenes of mid-century romantic comedies---so elegant and chic! But the real star is the lipstick, which is moist and creamy. It glides on easily, without tugging, and lends just enough color to the lips. It doesn't have the staying power of a stain, but that gives me an excuse to pull it out of my purse to show it off frequently! I also use it as a subtle blush, with a quick swipe across my cheeks. Love this!

I bought this lipstick thinking it would be matte- which was totally my bad because it doesn't say matte anywhere in the description! I literally only wear matte lipsticks though so I think I forget that matte isn't the default. Anyways, despite having a little bit of shimmery shine, I really love the colour. It's a very delicate, petal pink, which is just what I wanted. Also the tube is so pretty, how could I not?

This lipstick is very smooth, and makes my lips feel so soft.

I, however, wish I would have gotten a darker color, because I think my skin is a little too tan for it, I almost feel like it just blends right in to my skin tone.

It's still a very beautiful color, and with a lip liner, I think it would help the color POP a little better.

I went out on a limb with this purchase as I couldn't try it on anywhere (no stores in manhattan sell this!) but after seeing how cool the case is and how popular this is overseas, I couldnt' resist.

I bought the rouge color, and it's a true blue-red that is just beautiful.
