Birchbox Breakdown

Whether you’re putting together a huge lobster feast or just brightening up a fresh salad, a little bit of citrus is always a welcome addition. But with the cutting and the squeezing—not to mention navigating pulp and seeds—things can get a little messy. Quirky’s Stem aims to fix all that. With this simple invention, you don’t need a knife, juicer, or even a firm grip to add an even spritz of citrus to dishes.

How it Works

The Stem’s serrated teeth sink easily into citrus fruit, allowing juice to flow through its tube and out of a spray nozzle. With just a push down of a finger, juice is evenly distributed on dishes. It’s made from food-safe polypropylene, and simple to disassemble and clean.

How to Use

Insert spritzer into citrus fruit and spray onto desired dish. When done, wash parts with soap and water.

Almost perfect

This is a great invention and it works perfect if you need a little spritz of lemon. You do have to puncture a few more holes if you want to get the most out of the lemon

Perfect Idea

There are many times when I don't use lemon because I don't want to waste a full lemon on a small task. This unique idea lets me use it as I need and continue to store it until further use.

Not my favorite

I am a frequent tea drinker and I like to put a little lemon in my tea. I bought this product with the hope that I would no longer need to cut small lemon slices for each cup of tea. I really wanted to like this product but I found that the amount of lemon juice that comes out is just not enough to make an impact on my tea. This is perhaps for use if you just want a very small amount of lemon on your food/drink.

Awesome Little Kitchen Tool

If you like citrus spritz, this is for you! It's super easy and neat :) I like to use it to add a little lemon or lime juice to my tea, or salads. Sometimes I go crazy and just get a lemon to spray in my mouth!!!

works well

this product works really well. only thing is once you stick it in, you have to use the whole fruit and sometimes you may just want a little spritz.. i am interested in trying with other fruits soon!

I'm a lemon freak.

I put lemon on literally everything. I use this when I want just a touch of it. It's perfect for salads, on fruit, on pasta, on meat... cocktails!

Love it

Works very well and am amazed I did not find this sooner. Many recipes call for a spritz of lemon in the glass or just a spritz on my sald. Terrific!

Love!

It works well, it's simple, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to incorporate into many different types of meals (fish, chicken, salads), and works with many types of citrus fruits! I've used limes, lemons, oranges, AND grapefruits (a grapefruit half really), and it works! I've found that with the smaller citrus fruits (lemon, tangerine, lime) that rolling the fruit a bit to release some of the juices really gets a good spray going.
Awesome! :)
