This was very easy to use, and turned out a great bun. I did have to use a couple of bobby pins to hold the bottom in, but it was a lot of hair to get into this smaller version.
Great item to have in your hair care kit! Unfortunately my hair is quite long so it doesn't hold all of it, but it does work well on a half up do.
I have relatively long hair, past my shoulders, and this product couldn't hold them at all. Definitely a "no" for me.
Perfect for sock buns!
I received this in my birchbox, and I was very happy with it! SO much better than using a sock! However, the instructions are not written clearly enough, but it is easy to figure out if you have used a sock before. Another thing, I have really long, medium-thick hair and I still felt like this was a little too thick for my hair to completely cover it to where there is no sign of it at all. However, my hair did cover it, but you can see the shape of the half-up in my hair.
Not for thin hair
I have tried this over and over, but i have thin, layered hair and it will not work with it. The hair keeps falling out. This is not for me.
This product worked nicely in my long, thin, blonde hair. It felt much more secure than a typical sock bun.
So I was excited when I received this in my February box, but am not so excited about it after trying to use it. I have very fine hair so this just does not work for me in the way that it's intended. As a result, I've yet to use it/wear it. I may try using it for all of my hair, rather than half up/half down. I think this is/would be a great product but for those with thicker hair.
Not for thick hair
I got the Wrap Up today and it is very cool. I have really thick hair so I will definitely only be able to do a half up. Hopefully it will hold up to regular use.
I've always wondered how to do those elegant looking buns. This product was simple enough for me to do to my own hair and I really like the way it looks.
Didn't work for me
This sounds like a good idea and was excited to try but just didn't work for me. I looked at several instructional videos but still, didn't work well for me.
