Dermatologists, aestheticians, and plastic surgeons use glycolic acid in high concentration, low pH chemical peels. But the skincare panacea—which boosts cell turnover, diminishes wrinkles and fine lines, and battles acne—is also available for home use (albeit in less potent doses). This exfoliating cleanser is just strong enough to dislodge dead skin cells and clean out pores, and gentle enough to use daily.
How it Works
Glycolic acid is the power ingredient in this oil-free cleanser. To get a bit geeky, the alpha-hydroxy acid penetrates the skin and weakens the lipids that contribute to the build up of dead skin cells. Aloe vera heals, moisturizes, and improves elasticity, while chamomile calms and balances.
How to Use
Morning and night, massage into damp face and neck. Rinse thoroughly.
