I purchased this product and took your suggestion and used it as a shave cream. WOW !!!! What a nice close shave and left me feeling great !!!

I began using my sample FINALLY the last couple of months and I think I've found exactly what I need. For harsh northern climates, one should not be washing their face with soap. My skin esthetician this summer actually told me that I should be using a cream cleanser anyway. I will definitely be using the product in the future.

The Borghese Crema Saponetta cleanser is great for everyday use -- it leaves my face clean, fresh and exfoliated. It lacks the granularity of some other exfoliating cleansers, so I can use it every day without irritation but still end up with a fresh-feeling face. Also, I appreciate that the scent (kind of orange-y?) isn't overpowering. I want to get a clean mug without smelling like a glass of OJ.

I used it as a facial cleanser and it definitely gave my skin a clean feeling, but had the quality a few cleansers have where your skin feels really dry afterward. I'd pair it with a follow-up light moisturizer whether used in the morning or before bed.

Was not expecting to like this, but it left my face feeling clean without drying my skin. It has a good neutral smell and is super lightweight.

This is a nice cleanser. Good in the morning with a hot shower and preps the beard nice for shaving. the texture is unlike other cleaners and seems very gentle on the skin which is good for sensitive complexions

I use it with a Clairsonic brush and it lathers well and feels good. Sometimes it leaves my face a little dry, but very clean. I'm still working through the sample tube because you don't need a lot at once. I definitely plan on buying it again.
