At the risk of sounding gross, sometimes our pores can be harder to unclog than the shower drains in our pre-war apartments. (See, gross.) Designed with all skin types in mind, this exfoliating mud mask contains clay sourced from the Big Horn Mountains out west to lift away all kinds of impurities, leaving skin bright and smooth. If only reaching our landlords was so easy.
How it Works
Pascalite clay, which Native Americans in Wyoming have used on their skin for centuries, contains calcium bentonite to calm both chronic and sudden irritation (fun fact: It’s traditionally used to treat insect bites and stings). Cucumber extract reduces redness, while a mild dose of salicylic acid sloughs away dead cells to renew skin and fight breakouts. The nondrying formula is gluten-free and suitable for sensitive types.
How to Use
Spread a thin layer of the mask onto clean skin. Wait until it dries and cracks appear on the surface. Gently rinse with warm water.
