I bought this because I recently switched all of my products to ones without chemicals. This was nothing special I could have easily used olive oil instead. Pretty expensive for "so-so" results.
To remove makeup I usually go to the makeup remover cloth but sometimes need a little more attention. I just dab some on a cotton ball when I'm having a hard time removing a lip stain or waterproof mascara and eyeliners and viola! Instantly fixed. Make sure you cleanse after use as it is a very oily mixture.
This works well to remove eye makeup, but you can purchase all of these oils used in this for a fraction of the price.
I bought this stuff to take in my travel makeup bag. I was hoping I would be pleasantly surprised. I've tried many eye-makeup removers over the years and nothing stands up to my Lancome Bi-Facil. Including this. It has texture and the smells okay. But once you use it the makeup isn't completely removed AND you're left with an oily residue. I don't mind blending the oil into my skin as a moisturizer (which was a bonus mentioned on either the label or the website). But it also leaves an oil deposit on my lashes that blurs my vision for a short period of time. I will use it as an emergency backup but other than that, not impresses.
I wasn't wild about this product. It's a fairly thick oil and because its thick it didn't glide across the skin as well as other oil based removers.
I wasn't a huge fan, very oily didn't take eye makeup off well and for the price it comes in a small bottle. I dropped it and its glass, so I didn't have It very long.
I love the fact that this is an all natural product but it's only 'so-so' for removing makeup. It does the job, but I've found that I have to use a lot to get a little mascara off.
This makeup remover has a great ingredient list & works very well for face, lids, & lips. It's even great if you want to leave it on as a facial moisturizer once in a while. That said, it just doesn't cut it for waterproof mascara, especially when you have more than one layer on. While I really want to find a green/clean makeup remover for my addiction to waterproof mascara, this is just not the one.
I really like a lot of the products this brand carries, I have tried each and everyone, but this doesn't work for me. I wear contacts and glasses, so if my contacts are in it blurs my vision, if my glasses are on my lashes tend to hold onto some of the oils and then gets on my lenses. It would work well as a facial oil, but my skin is oily and even though I know oil on oily skin is supposed to be a good comb, my pores cannot handle it.
I am in love with the makeup remover, which is fairly new. I wasn't a huge makeup fan until recently and a coworker gave me some store bought oil/water science experiment looking stuff. Every time I used it, my eyes would get tons of makeup gunk in them, they would burn, and I felt like I had a nasty residue on my face. This stuff, since it is only comprised of three oils, doesn't burn my eyes. I've found it takes makeup off easily and I use a Q-tip with some of this on it to remove my eyeliner and mascara like a charm. When I'm done, I lightly clean my face and then rub in the oil as a moisturizer.
