It only took two layers after my base and it cover completely I'm very happy with the color and how fast it dry out.
2 of the three shades( the ones I was looking forward to the most:( ) are pretty iffy. I have never run into a Zoya product I have not liked....until now. They are gel based and go on really uneven. They are a hassle to deal with and dry uneven. Great colors but formula is off:(
The texture and colors are great... after three coats, or more. If you're the more patient sort, these lasted a while on my nails and applied easily enough, it just was too thin for my tastes.
I wanted to LOVE this polish. It has very shoddy coverage, though. Needs at least 3 coats. With the orange color, I had to do 4 coats to get opaque coverage (or, enough coverage that the color looked orange, not a weird orangy yellowy shade).
I was drawn to the beautiful spring colors. I had hoped for something a little more opaque though. I also tried mixing the colors and that was fun, but still very very sheer. Gives more of a hint of color, rather than covering the nail with color
Fairly sheer. I like the idea of layering them, but in all honesty I prefer an opaque coverage. Wouldn't buy again.
Love this set, minus the orange color. However, that is just my personal bias (I hate orange). The other 2 colors are gorgeous and I gave my orange "Coraline" color to a friend who could appreciate it. As always, the Zoya formula is fantastic!
These polish colors (in the jelly-ish formula) are simply gorgeous, especially for this spring/summer where pinks and corals (yeah yeah, like every spring and summer) are making beauty headlines...still, they're stunning on the nail, short or long.
I really love the whole zoya line. It stays on longer, it glides on easily and the colors are magnificent.
