March 2013: Editor’s Letter

While I’m guilty of thinking of sporting events in terms of their snack potential (baseball means hot dogs and Cracker Jacks, obvi), I know I’m in the minority. Every year, my friends go crazy over March Madness, spending hours agonizing over their respective brackets. In the spirit of that passion, we’re devoting this month to finding your ultimate beauty lineup, with samples from all-star pros like Benefit and Caudalie, as well as young upstarts like MAKE and Marcelle. 

The March issue of the Birchbox Magazine is jam-packed with healthy competition, starting with a video pitting two beloved hair styles against each other. You’ll find an interview with pro basketball player Maya Moore, a roundup of our top spring lipsticks, and a guide to products you should play (and bench) this season. And in our Shop, the season's looks best poised to make a run for our own Final Four.
