Birchbox Man X BASECAMP: The Rainy Day Playlist

On a rainy day, a killer playlist can combat any stir-crazy anguish of being trapped indoors. A mellow soundtrack can even make the downpour enjoyable. Ensuring that the next rainy day is a productive and pleasant one, we summoned the Nashville-based R&B trio BASECAMP to curate a list of songs that will soothe your senses with each subsequent beat. Rain aside, the list also doubles as the perfect work-from-home set.

You can check out the playlist on Songza or click the banner below.

BASECAMP lead vocalist Aaron Miller shared some of his favorite tracks from the song list as well:

Little Dragon, Thunder Love
“We're huge Little Dragon fans. Discovered them when they released their first LP a few years back. This song is a long-time favorite, and we’re really excited for their new album next month.”

Jamie xx, Sleep Sound
“Beautiful tune. Jamie's been one of the bigger influences on our music.”

Disclosure ft. London Grammar, Help Me Lose My Mind (SOHN Remix)
“Disclosure’s LP was at the top of our list last year; Hannah's voice is beyond stunning; and SOHN did an amazing job on this remix. A truly beautiful piece of music.”

BASECAMP’s music also promises a relaxing, productive day—put them on at the office or when working from home. Our favorite track? “ATSW,” a searing cover of Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants.” Miller says that the band is hard at work on its second EP for the next few months. He adds that they're grateful to be back in Nashville recording, because their grooming routine on the road is “like the movie Cast Away.”
