How To: Fold Two Pocket Squares Together

We’re fans of the basic pocket square fold—and we’ve even got three favorite methods in our sartorial arsenal—but now we’re stepping it up a notch and combining two squares into one design. Here’s a rundown of this folding technique that will have you looking twice as sharp as everyone else.

Step 1 Step 1: Gather two unique pocket squares that you want to layer together.
Step 2 Step 2: Fold both into triangles with the apex pointing upwards and the right corner of one settled in the middle of the other.
Step 3 Step 3: Fold the right corner of square 2 to the middle.
Step 4 Step 4: Do the same with the left corner of square 1.
Step 5 Step 5: Fold the top right point of pocket square 2 down, forming a triangle.
Step 6 Step 6: Repeat step 5 with pocket square 1 to make an even smaller triangle.
Step 7 Step 7: Fold the bottom right corner up to meet the apex.
Step 8 Step 8: Flip over, maintaining the shape of step 6.
Step 9 Step 9: Then fold the last point inward.
Step 10 Step 10: Fan out the folds and place in blazer pocket.
