Man of the Year: Your Nominations

In December’s sneak peek, we asked Birchbox Man subscribers to nominate their own personal Man of the Year. We thought we’d see a few of the same float to the top but the variety of responses was surprising (and truthfully, a little touching). Here are our favorites:

The Little Man

Man of the year has to go to my 11-month-old son. Little dude has brought so much joy and light into everyone's life!
—Jonathan Day

The Wo-Man

Although as Martin said, "my dad" is a great choice (especially since he turned 70 this year), like Time Magazine I'm going to go gender-neutral and vote for Malala Yousafzai. I think she deserved the Nobel, her accomplishments are astounding, and her ongoing fight for equality and education serves both men and women around the globe.
—Daniel Venning

The Self-Made Man

I don't want to be conceited or anything, but I would consider myself #manoftheyear because I've overcome so much in the last year. I went from hitting rock bottom, to being happier than I have in a long time.
—Shiv

The Motor Man

Man of the Year is definitely Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla Motors). That dude is Tony Stark in real life! I hope that I can be him one day!
—Musicguy208

The Anchor Man

Will Ferrell for bringing back Anchorman. Rejoice!
