Before diving right in and telling you about all of the fragrance's notes and why I can't stop spritzing it, I have to back up an explain the inspiration. For fall 2013, the label decided to go more "street than sweet," as style.com put it, with its collection—and the effect was marvelous. (I personally love the interplay between tough and girly, which is why I'm gunning for this jacquard moto jacket and this leather-like flouncy skirt.)
Using their fall show as the inspiration, BCBG set out to create a scent that complemented the looks they sent down the runway: a perfect hybrid of edgy-meets-feminine. As soon as I took my first whiff of the perfume, I knew that it fit my personality, with its sweet notes of lychee and red berries mixed with more mysterious notes of tiger lily, jasmine noir, and sandalwood.
Funny enough, I had the absolute perfect opportunity to wear my fave new fragrance earlier this morning at the brand's spring 2014 show. As always, the clothes were stunning, and after seeing all the effortless neutrals and easy-breezy pieces in their latest collection, I can already smell another fragrance in the making.
