We’ve all been there. You’ve just slipped under the covers, desperate for some shut-eye, when you realize you forgot to apply that crucial beauty product. Sigh. Rather than force yourself out of that oh-so-cozy bed, we suggest making sure to have your essentials just an arm's length away. Here, our votes for beauty products that belong at your bedside:
Long days and fluctuating temperatures can leave hands pretty darn dry, and there’s no better time to repair them than while you’re snoozing. Even the most parched skin is no match for this dense hand cream, which contains vitamin E, honey, and almond to soothe and revive. Not only does the formula absorb quickly (no greasy mess on your sheets), but it also contains jasmine and ylang ylang, which are naturally relaxing.
No matter how much sleep you get, you still need to keep the under eye area hydrated to prevent lines, dark circles, and puffiness. We’re particularly fond of this one from Benefit, which has cocoa extract to promote under eye circulation and fade discoloration, plus apple and loquat extracts, to boost collagen and help fight free radicals.
You’d never go to bed without washing your face (right?) but to keep pimples at bay you’ll want to add in a specialty acne-fighter. Dab a tiny bit of this gel on any problem spots before hitting the hay. It puts zit-fighting salicylic acid to work while caffeine and red algae eliminate redness.
The one thing that is non-negotiable to have by your bed: something that moisturizes your lips. This amazing balm is 100 percent natural and full of reparative antioxidant vitamin E.
