To goop is to edit. It’s all about simplifying the everyday so that you have time to truly enjoy life’s pleasures—time with family and friends, good food, and great style.
We’ll be hitting L.A. pretty soon with the latest installment of the goop City Guides app.
Cozy Up for Fall
The entire goop office is obsessed with the Chinti & Parker collaboration sweaters from the goop Collection.
We love checking out the London design scene for inspiration. Some favorite spots that always have unique displays are: Guinevere, Mint Shop, Tom Dixon’s store right on the Regents Canal, and designer Michael Anastassiades' recently opened shop.
If we could be anywhere at any time, these are the art shows we’d be excited to see this fall: Taryn Simon at the MoCa in L.A., Franz West at Gagosian in London, Tony Smith at Matthew Marks in New York, and The Sao Paulo Biennial. The Frieze is always fun and good for people watching.
Recipes on Repeat
A pair of good noise-canceling headphones, a comfortable eye-mask, a high-quality moisturizer, hand sanitizer, lots of vitamin C, and a shawl that doubles as a blanket.
Andy Puddicombe’s Get Some Headspace on mindfulness and meditation. Pema Chodron’s When Things Fall Apart is supposed to be a great read (we’re hoping to have her on goop soon). And we're excited for Junot Diaz’ latest novel, This is How You Lose Her.
Worth the Splurge
A good sharp knife, a great blazer to wear again and again, and a high quality, all-natural moisturizer.
